Stop Searching for Your Passion & Take a Single Step

"Why does everyone else seem to know what their purpose is?"

"What if I don't know what my 'passion' is?"

"Why does everyone else seem to know what their purpose is?"

"I am unhappy in what I'm doing, but I don't know what I want."

++

Raise your hand if you have ever felt like you missed the boat on “discovering your purpose,” or “finding your passion" like everyone else seems to have ..."so why can’t I?"

Anyone? 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

Your passion and purpose are revealed in situations that you create by taking action.

Contrary to popular wisdom, you don’t necessarily *find* your purpose like a buried treasure, or receive it via metaphorical lightning bolt. Often (always?) your passion and purpose are revealed in situations that you create by taking action.

Momentum is created in the bravery of small steps.

Small steps carry you *much* farther than the stuck-ness of trying to identify your passion before you do anything at all.

What if there is no *one* thing you’re supposed to be doing?

What if taking *any* action toward your tiniest goal opens you up to new opportunities?

My take:

The passion you want to feel will ensue in what you pursue.

Don’t get it twisted. Don't be paralyzed by the myth of the Big Pursuit. Take the tiniest step, repeat, and watch what unfolds for you.

Let me know: What would you try if you knew the *trying* was the magical part?
